A Celtic Roots Journey with Kalos
September 24 @ 7:30 pm

“There’s a certain spontaneity at work as the three musicians alternately contest and duel,
combine and coalesce to bring their talents together.”
~ Folkwords (UK)
“This trio really shows how masterful musicians listen and play off each other.”
~Devon Leger of Hearth Music
Kalos is a Celtic Roots Trio that takes listeners through a range of moods — from poignant yearning to exuberant celebration. “Headland” (the title of their debut album) refers to a point where land meets sea, and is a fitting analogy for the exploratory space Kalos inhabits — one that calls forth driving, heartfelt music journeying through unknown territory to seek and find its essence – the enduring, resilient experience of the human heart. Join us for an intimate concert that explores folk traditions and new compositions from the celtic world and beyond with three musicians full of good humour and energy for creating together, and sharing their craft on stage.
