Ev’ry Night and Ev’ry Morn Houston Grand Opera Finalist Samuel Kidd, baritone Julian Grabarek, piano
October 11 @ 7:30 pm

“…a cohesive blend of caressing phrases and dynamic intensity.”
“…he sang exultantly, and made a listener believe it.”
— Steven Winn, Classical Voice San Francisco
Kerrytown Concert House is delighted to welcome back to its stage Ann Arbor native and Houston Grand Opera finalist, baritone Samuel Kidd. Joining him will be collaborative pianist Julian Grabarek – both artists just back from a summer performing in San Francisco for the world-renowned Merola Opera Program. Together, Kidd and Grabarek will present songs from Ev’ry Night and Ev’ry Morn, a compelling voice recital inspired by Benjamin Britten’s striking and haunting cycle, Songs and Proverbs of William Blake, examining the contradictions of modern life in our societies, relationships, and even within ourselves. You won’t want to miss this special opportunity to hear an extraordinary baritone emerging on the national operatic scene in KCH’s intimate setting!
