Get ready for an evening of gypsy jazz at its toe-tapping finest with Third Coast Swing and violinist, Grant Flick!  Filled with jazz and musette, Memories of Montmartre will evoke in you thoughts of French cafés, traveling Europe and swing dancing to Hot Jazz! 
Third Coast Swing is influenced by the late Belgium-born Romani Gypsy Django Reinhardt (b. 1910) and his band, The Quintette du Hot Club of France (think Louis Armstrong with a French accent). Reinhardt’s music, steeped in the tradition of rich culture from Europe and blended with swing-era jazz, was later dubbed “Hot Club Music.”
