WINE, WOMEN & SONG XXI
COMING OF AGE!
Friday, March 3rd, 2023 at 7:30 PM
Saturday, March 4th, 2023 at 2:00 & 7:30 PM
After a wonderful Gala performance at The Ark in July, the Women are back in the House and ready to turn 21! A significant birthday for cabaret series as well as people, this year’s show is a coming-of-age story for all ages, journeying through the common themes we experience in each new stage of life: new beginnings, hopes and dreams, new freedoms, a dose of reality, and new wisdom gained on the other side.
21 years of cabaret collaborations have taught these groundbreaking women to have a robust sense of humor! Unique, quirky, and inspiring, the Women will give you a show that is, in turn, witty, moving, hilarious, poignant, naughty, and straight-up laugh-out-loud FUNNY! You’ll leave with a smile on your face and a song in your heart!

About Wine, Women & Song
Now in its 21st year, Wine, Women & Song is one of KCH’s most beloved events at the House and the most impactful fundraising opportunity of the year! Every woman featured in this showcase donates her time and talent so that proceeds can go directly to support Kerrytown Concert House.
Over the years, the ensemble has expanded and changed along with the changes that life brings, and additional performances needed to be added to meet the demand for tickets. Now, each year as fall approaches, Show Creator and KCH Artistic & Executive Director Monica Swartout-Bebow, together with a rock star production team (Director Kathy Waugh, Assistant Directors Susan Shipman & Laurie Atwood, and Music Director / Pianist Tyler Driskill) move into action with the Women, planning for the next season’s series. It is a collective joy for them to breathe life into the music they perform together, to make meaningful connections with KCH audiences, and to raise funds to keep Kerrytown Concert House vibrant and thriving!
