Artist statement: The eclectic and transporting performances at the Kerrytown Concert House inspired this show, which features work spanning time and place, encompassing multimedia conversations with New York City and Buenos Aires, as well as the diverse ecosystems surrounding Ann Arbor. The rich variety of music in this space moved me to seek evocative contrasts in the work displayed here, art that is bright and subtle, frenetic and quiet, and includes encaustic, metalwork, collage, and monotypes.
