Jamie Gallupe is a cellist, viola da gamba player, and singer who specializes in historically informed performance practice, and chamber music. Her work as a performer often focuses on bringing ancient and modern music together to connect the commonalities experienced by different peoples throughout history. Outside of performing, Jamie maintains a thriving cello studio, directs the Strings Program at The Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor, and is Director of Choral Conducting at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Ypsilanti. Jamie completed a Master of Music at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in the spring of 2019.
