Artist Bio:

Carrie Hensel is a Michigan-based impressionist landscape painter whose work is rooted in time spent outdoors—watching, listening, and letting it in.

Her paintings often begin in the woods or at the water’s edge: ferns unfurling, waves lapping, birds calling from the birch trees. She’s not just painting the landscape, but the feeling of being inside it—the moment you remember you’re part of it too.

Carrie works in acrylic, building layers of color and movement to hold onto that feeling just a little longer.

She is represented by Somebody’s Gallery in Petoskey, Michigan. Original paintings and commissions are available through the artist and the gallery; limited edition prints are available directly.
